A Canadian company, founded in 2002. You deal with the people who do the work.
You are checking whether the company behind these pages is real, small enough that you will not be handed to a junior, and old enough to still be here when the site needs its next change. The records: Toronto, the same owner since 2002, an office on Don Mills Road, 500+ client companies since 2002, six of them with us for ten years or more, the longest for more than fifteen. Dmitri Logounov is on every account; Elena Green designs; Alex Tkachev builds; clients write to them directly. We use AI in our own operations before we recommend it to anyone.

Logounov
Founder and Director of Operations. On every project since 2002.
I started New Design Group in 2002, straight out of business school at York University, and it has been my only business since.
We began as a graphic design shop. When the web took off, we built websites. I designed with a designer and coded the first ones myself.
Corporate clients followed, then professional developers. After 2010 we added two more departments: branding and digital marketing.
We learned branding from people who had done it at the top. Several senior creatives from major brands, retired from full-time work, joined us part-time as mentors.
One of them, Jack Senett, is still our Vice President. At Volvo he was one of the people behind the idea that Volvo is the safest family car.
We used to keep large offices downtown. In 2020 we moved the team online and never went back.
Today the core team is 15 people, named on this page, with specialists around the world we have worked with for 10 to 15 years.
By training I am an engineer, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, with a business degree from York.
My job now is to automate how we work, talk to clients, lead the team leads and make the strategic calls.

(04) How we work
Six things
we hold to
01
The number in writing before work starts
You leave the first call with a range and get the number in writing before anything begins. It does not move unless the scope does. For a small business we sometimes say the cheaper route is the better one, and point to it.
02
Knowledge transfer
We explain what we build and why, and we train your people to run it. If we part ways, you keep the site, the files and the logins.
03
One team, and you write to the people who do the work
Strategy, design, development and marketing in one place. Elena and Alex on the email, Dmitri on the call. No account-manager layer, no ticket queue. Once you're a client, the answer comes within the hour on business days and the same day on weekends.
04
Nothing without your approval
Every stage is shown and approved before the next; there are no hidden costs and no surprise at the invoice.
05
AI in our own operations first
Invoices, dashboards and audits at NDG run on scheduled AI tasks. We recommend to clients only what we run ourselves, and a person signs off on every piece of client work.
06
Four industries, not forty
Financial services, manufacturing, food and retail, non-profits: where we have long-term clients and cases with figures.
(05) Questions
Questions
we get
Where is New Design Group?
New Design Group is at 1501-797 Don Mills Rd, Toronto, ON M3C 1V1, at Don Mills and Eglinton in Toronto, and has worked from the city since 2002. Most clients are in the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario; some are in other provinces and the United States. We meet in person when it helps and work by video and email the rest of the time.
How big is the agency?
A core team of 15 people, named on this page, plus specialists we have worked with for 10 to 15 years, and AI tools for the repetitive work. Since 2002 the agency has completed work for more than 500 clients. There is no account-management layer: the people on this page do the work and answer the email.
Who will I work with?
The people named on this page: Elena leads design, Alex leads development, Jack writes the copy, and Dmitri Logounov, the founder, scopes the work and runs the readout. Nobody hands you to a junior after the sale, and the people on this page are the ones who answer your email. Ask on the first call who will be on your project and you get names, not roles.
How do you set the price?
One product has a published fixed price: the AI Search Visibility audit, CAD $3,500 before HST (2026), because its scope is fixed. Everything else is quoted for your scope after the first call: a range on the call, the number in writing within days. The drivers are the ones every pricing survey names, for example DesignRush (2026): pages and templates, how much content we write, what the site connects to, and how many sub-brands or materials a brand system has to cover. The number does not move unless the scope does.
What are the reviews like?
5.0 on Clutch from 28 verified client reviews as of 2026, with financial firms, manufacturers and non-profits among them; the oldest client reviewing us has been with us since 2004. Reviews matter more than agency copy: according to TrustRadius (2025), 77% of B2B technology buyers consulted user reviews before buying. Read ours on Clutch; we quote them with the year on our pages.
How do I choose a marketing agency in Toronto?
Ask for three things before you compare prices: the names of the people who will do your work, a case in your industry with dates and what changed, and a written scope with the number in it. Agencies that cannot give all three will give you an account manager, a generic portfolio and a quote that grows. Do the research before the first meeting: according to Gartner (2026), 67% of B2B buyers prefer a rep-free experience, so the website and the reviews have to answer your questions first. Then book a short call with two or three agencies and compare the scopes line by line.
Do you use AI to do client work?
Yes, as tools: drafting, resizing, checking, measuring, and the scheduled runs that produce our invoices and dashboards. Every piece of client work is reviewed and signed off by a person, and each plan says which tool did what. According to Statistics Canada (2025), 12.2% of Canadian businesses used AI to produce goods or deliver services, double the year before; we are one of them and we show clients how, on request.
